Online Casinos Enjoy Good Holiday Revenues, Despite UIGEA Slump

Despite dire forecasts predicted for the online casinos industry after the dramatic Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, industry analysts are now showing that the holiday season has brought a rise in visitors to online casinos. In the past three years, an average of 10% rise has been seen in the online casinos industry over the Thanksgiving to New Year season, and analysts say that 2006 will be no different.
In previous years, wagers at online casinos started to pick up around Thanksgiving weekend and peaked over the Christmas/New Year break. January usually saw a slight slump at online casinos although business picked up once again during the NFL playoffs and the Superbowl Season and around Spring time. Many analysts feel that despite the US law, the online casinos industry should react in the same way as previous years. The market should eventually stabilize after some time.
